Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in 1987, obtained his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC – Rio) in 1991 and his Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio in 1998. He is currently a professor at UFF. Has experience in smart structures, vibration, pipeline, two-phase flow, piping vibration and structural integrity.
